Beware of Augus / Marvelous Plumbers

I consider it my responsibility to share my experience with Augus or Marvelous Plumbers (Pty) Ltd through this review. Previously, they had successfully exchanged a geyser for me without any issues, which led me to accept their quote for a more complex task: digging a trench and connecting a new toilet and basin. Accordingly, I paid the agreed-upon 70% deposit. The job wasn’t started as scheduled, and the trench was eventually dug only four days later. At this point, the plumber demanded more money without providing the necessary hardware like the toilet and basin. He refused to proceed with the job until I made the extra payment and insisted that an additional invoice will be forthcoming. I tried to contact them via email and their website, but both turned out to be non-operational. Additionally, I discovered that the company is not even registered with CIPC, which is a concerning revelation. These issues have left me with an incomplete and unsatisfactory job, and I am deeply disappointed with the overall outcome of my experience with Augus or Marvelous Plumbers. I advise others to exercise caution when considering their services.
