Buyer Beware!

I phoned around for a Steinberg USB licenser (****le). At the time the agents were expecting delivery in 2 weeks and so I contacted Audiomart telephonically.

When I asked about the product I was told "Yes we have one in stock, in fact I'm standing here with one in my hand" I promptly paid and was told to expect delivery in 3-5 business days, which is ok but not great.

After 2 weeks I mailed them asking whats going on. I was told the courier caused the delay but it was on the way. When I asked for a tracking number I then got told that "the courier lost the item"

I phoned them again and was told no there is no stock but we will get new stock in about a month. This AFTER I was told that the item was in hand. I then received an email stating that I will get a refund and that the salesperson was reprimanded, which is very curios, as I had never divulged his name, as I could not remember it!

At this time I phoned the agents and simply went to pick up the item at the store.

My unfortunate impression from this experience is that they will lie through their teeth to make a sale, any sale, and when you query they will lie again and again to cover themselves. Be very wary!
