The ghost subscription

After trying to cancel my subscription many times I've now been charged and didn't even receive a credit (Which I don't want). After I saw the pending amount I immediately tried to cancel my membership again. But the mobile app is useless. I just got put into a loop. If I clicked "Cancel Subscription" nothing actually happened, it just took me back to look at the subscription again. After a long struggle with the awful app, I gave up and tried the website. Found out my subscription has been canceled over a month ago when I canceled it the first time. So please Audible, if you could explain to me what it is I'm paying for that be great.
