Audi Service Disappointment

Where do I even begin.

I bought a preowned Audi A1 (2015) last year 2021, and got the car two weeks later in October when it only had to go for a valet.

Not long after, the car made noises and I had it checked out by Audi, and they had to replace the Battery and AC Compressor. Which the warranty didnt want to cover at first.

The car still continued to make that noise, and ultimately it ended up breaking down last Sunday, after backfiring, etc.

I was only lucky i wasn't alone and in traffic that Monday morning if it decided to fail then.

Car arrived at Audi Monday Morning, and they could only look at the car on Tuesday, after I went there on Monday afternoon to see progress and was told they were still busy checking the car. With their “suspicions” they told me I would need to pay this and that amount before they even stripped and quoted, which was ambiguous.

They then told me the clutch needs to be replaced, and this needs to be done first to get the car moving before getting to anything else. The warranty only covered a small amount as it was claimed through Audi and they deem it a wear and tear. I couldn't wrap my head around this as the car went through servicing before??

Whose to say the car will move after replacing the clutch?

Throughout this whole ideal I had to constantly request feedback and status to no avail, with which I had to contact the dealer principal to get some answers.

Almost two weeks later today, overcharged (as another service provider advised), I am forced to pay a large amount for clutch replacement.

They sold me a bag of junk.

I will never deal with this dealership again.

Disappointed and saddened.

I hope someone sees this, and thinks twice about dealing with this dealership.

Note: I am a student and it is the exam period. I did not need this and no one deserves to go through this.
