Unprofessional Shuttle Driver Behaviour at Audi Centre Rivonia

I am extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism displayed by Audi Centre Rivonia during what should have been a standard shuttle service experience.

My wife made use of the shuttle service while our vehicle was in for a service, and during the trip, the driver repeatedly spoke to her about his personal financial struggles, including not having electricity, not being able to cook, being hungry, and not having food to eat. The conversation became clearly aimed at soliciting sympathy and ultimately manipulating her into giving him money.

This placed my wife in a very uncomfortable position and is completely unacceptable from a premium brand such as Audi. Customers should never feel pressured, emotionally manipulated, or guilted into providing money to staff members while making use of a professional service.

While I sympathise with anyone facing personal hardship, there is a time and place for such matters, and it should never involve customers being put in an awkward or pressured situation during a shuttle trip.

Audi Centre Rivonia needs to address this matter urgently and ensure that drivers and staff maintain professional boundaries with customers at all times. This experience reflects poorly on the dealership and the Audi brand as a whole.
