Distasteful Service
Good day
I write this mail with the regret of why I visited your dealership for a service complaint after my car was serviced by your dealership.
My car came to your dealership for a 90 000 KM service via a company called clear strategy company conducting surveys for all AUDI SA dealerships.
After a month or so of your service it started giving sounds on the transmission as if its running out of some lubricant on the gears.I called service reception and was referred to Christo, who was assigned my car in march to perform a service.
He then asked that I should book it in for today and I told him my situation that currently I need a car to use while mine is being serviced, he then informed me that there was nothing yesterday but today he will get me something.
When i arrived i found a different person than him, i was told he is off sick, and the technician by the name of Wandi will take care of my car.
Fast forward, the technician was bemused at why Chris promised me a car because there is one car already with another client whom brought in his RS7/8 last week already and there is nothing else.
I asked him if that's unacceptable as I use the car to perform my day to day duties at the Pan African African Parliament until Friday.
I then escalated the matter to his manager of which he also gave me some lame excuses.
I am very disappointed at your staff that:
1. They blame Christo for promising me a car and Christo represents AUDI Braamfontein, not himself.
2. I do not believe I should be charged labour while they have not diagnosed if this current problem was caused by wear and tear or poor workmanship.
3. Somehow I was made to feel that these cars are loaned to RS7/8 guys, I'm just a small fish in this pool.
I will await your response while I continue to escalate the matter to AUDI SA and report it on the hello peter platform.
