Non Fair treatment of clients
I had a horrible experience with audi margate. I came to them in 2018 about 2 or 3 times to report a fault in the car. I couldn't replicate the scenario when I got there as the car did this randomly and it was hard to describe. They checked the car and found no fault. Until one day the car breaks down and I take it to them as it was still under warranty. They tell me I have to pay since I was driving recklessly but I was literally driving home but I was told I'd fit the bill. I call the service champion I was used to, to explain and I he told me that he left the branch because of unfair racial treatment to employees and clients. He informed me that he contacted the mechanics and they said the clutch slipped and broke which may have been avoided if they had changed the clutch kit had been changed when I came in prior to enquire. I even contacted the Durban branch where I purchased the car and they said that my case had ground but due to fact that the car is in margate then they can't do anything about it. I even contact Audi SA, they also said as much as they want to help but they cannot dispute what the branch is saying as they trust all their branches to be fair and professional. I had to pay over 30k to fix the clutch and took my first loan to pay and I haven't recovered since. They have helped many clients who had clear reckless driving cases but refused to help me. Many former employees and clients (black people) can collaborate my story as this branch is still rooted in an ************** based system which is not fair.
