NEVER DEAL WITH AUCTION AUTO CAPE TOWN EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw a vehicle on Friday April 29. Lodged the query to Surf4cars. No one called back. Went back onto to website and called the number on the ad. Spoke to Michael. He said I had to pay a deposit to secure the vehicle. He has a truck leaving Cape Town for Polokwane at lunch time. He can load the vehicle. To deliver to me Saturday 30th. I paid the deposit sent him proof of payment. Assured me vehicle was loaded.

Called him Saturday morning. I should receive delivery by 3pm. Call at 2pm, drivers running late. I said deliver to my home address. I rush home from work, called Matthew again. No the drivers will call me. 10pm Matthew isnt answering his phone.

Sunday 1st May, I call he doesnt answer. I sent him a watsapp. He reads but doesn't respond.

Tuesday 3rd May, I call no answer. Call all numbers on their advert goes straight to voicemail. All the while the vehicle I paid for is being advertised on his watsapp status.

Eventually, I call from my wives phone. Michael answers. Says he is very sorry, but he has covid and he is in hospital. I asked for a colleague or managers number. Doesn't give it, but promises to follow up and get back to me. Hear nothing from him for 2 days.

Call him on Thursday that week. The truck broke down in Bloemfontein. They sending another truck to collect and deliver my vehicle. Then he calls me back to say he hasn't charged me delivery. So I must pay an extra R3500 before delivery.

I told him I'm not paying for something I don't have. Deliver the vehicle I will pay cash.

To date...no delivery. Still avoiding my calls and messages.

Called him last night from another number he answers. Said to give till this morning he will call me back. Same story. No call. I call him around 10.30am says boss wants me to pay delivery. I said deliver the vehicle I will pay. If boss has a problem. Ask him to call me...no call from boss or Matthew.

If you see the watsapp status and adverts you will be convinced that are a professional company.

Infact don't deal with Surf4cars too. Their call centre is a circus. Called and mailed. I was told they will get the company to call me. No calls as yet. I called back and they gave me the same numbers on advert. Explained, those numbers don't work. I was told there's nothing they can do. So don't they screen their dealers. It is a bad reflection on themselves. But who cares when its not their money.
