Sitting on the terrace of Au Bouchon Rouge in Riebeek Kasteel overlooking the picturesque Short Street is relaxed. Enjoyed a Picard with home made duck breast slices. Mussels in white wine and secret herbs was awesome. Only skilled french chef/owner Jullian can make it like this. The home made fries were made as it should be, Crispy outside, creamy with in This together with the,ofcourse made at order, garlic mayonaise made this lunch heavenly. Finished the meal with a desert named glafootis of figs (never had this) with a scoop of his freshly made sorbet ice cream and a local port. How nice life can be.
