Knysna is officially a suburb of Cape Town, at least this is the opinion of Atlas Furniture Removals....
<p>Our move was from Polokwane to Knysna. </p> <p>We did not choose Atlas Funiture Removals because they were the cheapest quote, we decided to go with Atlas Funiture Removals as we felt they understood our particular requirements our deadline given we were flying in from abroad and only had 2 days to meet and offload the truck in Knysna and unpack the house. </p> <p>Pickup was rescheduled to a day earlier at their request which suited us and would ensure delivery was not late. Pickup went smoothly on the Monday, mid month.</p> <p>Delivery was scheduled for Wednesday. We called the Driver at noon on Wednesday asking where the truck was. He said he was in Cape Town. </p> <p>We then contacted the owner of the Company Johan, requesting when delivery would occur. He had absolutly no clue and said he would contact us. His partner company in Cape Town contacted us and advised us they would deliver the goods on Saturday...3 days late. </p> <p>The reason it turned out was Atlas Furniture Removals' delivery address they supp**** the driver and the team in Cape Town was not for our address in Knyna Western Cape, but rather Knysna, Cape Town. We did not recieve any further correspondance (calls, emails, whatapp etc) from Atlas Furniture Removals to appologise, or to inform us of any further pertinent information. They simply didn't care. </p> <p>The Goods were delivered on Saturday in the rain rather than Wednesday. We ended up having to purchase a new fridge, kettle and cutlery and crockery. Thank heavens we had purchased new beds and bedding which was delivered by the supplier on schedule.</p> <p>I have moved numerous times with a couple of unforseen issues (breakdowns, weather delays etc) with is totally acceptable, however this was pure negligence, stupidity or ignorance and their subsequent unprofessional attitude is just totally unacceptable. </p> <p><br /> </p> <p>I hope everyone considers our experience before making the same mistake.</p>
