Swearing at customers for Enquiries

I called them to enquire if they can help me rent their trailer. As I have never rented one before I asked the owner of it can come with labour.

His answer was sarcastic but as I had a genuine inquiry I couldn’t pick up on that until his backlash.

“That was a **** question”. Pardon I responded, “that was a **** question and you mustn’t call me to ask me such ****.”

This is absolutely no way to treat a customer when “no” is a viable response.
