Double booking gone wrong

What The Atlantic spa boutique hotel did to us cannot be undone. They confirmed booking for August 13 2022 after we made full payment and on check in date they won’t allow us in and instead we have to wait outside while they tell us they booked us for September 13,2022 instead. This is very disappointing and this level of unprofessionalism is appalling and unacceptable.
