Dissapointing

For a brilliant massage and the******s - I would definitely recommend Atlantic Spa. We would return for these treatments any day!

For accommodation - I would not recommend this boutique hotel. the day before our arrival we tried to confirm our stay only to be told earlly evening that our room got changed. Now this isn't such a big deal.... but should be communicated to the paying customer. On arrival in our room we got given wet slippers. This was very strange, but we just left it. We spent the latter part of the morning (after our spa treatment) and afternoon at the pool - just relaxing and talking. we made dinner reservations for 7pm. When wanting to get ready we noticed the shower handle was broken - there was only a trickle of cold water when turning the broken mixer to the right and no water when turning the mixer to the left. When pulling the mixer towards you it just came off completely. Only when we went downstairs to complain we were told that the geyser broke and there is nothing they can do. I was told that I could get in line to use the Spa's shower if I wanted to. I told the lady at the front desk that i was quite disappointed and that this could have been communicated differently. Her words " the customer is not always right you know!"

We ended up showering in a cold trickle of water and was 45 min late for our dinner reservation. When we returned at 0850 pm we walked up the stairs and noticed a iron and ironing board in the hallway and one of the staff sitting outside our room smoking and loudly listening to something on his cellphone. At that moment this felt like we were living in a commune. When we entered our room the whole room smelt of smoke. We decided to right there and then pack our bags and leave. Very disappointing to say the least - the experience was not what we wanted.

When I asked this morning where I could write a review, I got told by Debbie that I need to make sure my facts are right because the owner has indeed sued people and won. How's that for a threat?

Like i mentioned, SPA IS GREAT! the rest..... i would definitely not recommend.
