SHOCKING SERVICE ATLANTIC DRY CLEANERS, WOODSTOCK

Nearly 3 months ago a coat bought from Zara, Durban for R1500 was taken into Atlantic Dry Cleaners, 12 Gympie Street, Woodstock for cleaning. When the coat was returned the fabric was damaged (burnt with chemicals ) and had changed in colour from white to grey. As a result it is unwearable and unusable. The owner, Zak, has continued to be evasive about his responsibilities in this regard and today has denied any responsibility. He has resorted to abusive screaming and threatening gestures and whilst he accepts the coat is damaged beyond recognition says that as his insurance wont pay (an acceptance of liability on his part anyway)he wont either!! There are no notices either in his shop or on his receipts that he takes no responsibility. So unless you enjoy been bul**** and screamed at in front of his staff and if you would rather recognise your garments when you get them back .... you have been cautioned!
