Firstly the Bus was suppose to Depart from Johannesburg (Park Station) at 19:00hrs on Fri 29 April 2016 heading to Cape Town and arrive at 12pm noon on Sat 30 April 2016.
For some unseen circumstances it only left Johannesburg at 9pm.
That being said it was just the Beginning of this Horror bus ride
The Bus got into Bloemfonetin around 1:30am from Bloemfontein it got stuck about 10km out of Colesberg this was around 3:45am and from 4am till now 13:45pm the Bus is still there.
The Mechanic got there only around 10am 6hrs later whilst people are stranded and he has been trying to fix the bus with no luck for the past 4hrs.
Now he finally says there is nothing he can do.
I have been in contact with Tariem from the CPT Offices since 9am up to now who was a bit helpful on this number Tel: +27 (0) 21 ***.
He provided me with a different number ***) and mentioned that these guys are the Intercity guys and will be able to give me more information.
Tried calling this number and it kept going to Voice Mail.
I called Tariem again to inform him that the number is not going through and he assured me that they will get back to me with an Update.
A few minutes later some guy called me from ***
The guy i spoke to is not suppose to be talking to customers at all as he doesn't know the meaning of the term Customer Care.
I informed him that i have a relative on the bus that's stuck and they said they have been stationary for more than 5hrs (this was around 9am) and i wanted some feedback as to what's happening.
He started raising his voice saying the Bus is getting fixed when the Mechanic gets there and i shouldn't listen to Passengers as he was getting his updates from the Drivers.
This was already 6hrs whilst people were stranded in the middle of nowhere.
I called him again and he said the Driver said the Bus is being fixed and it will be done in a short time.
3 Hrs later i called him again for an Update he said the Bus is on it's way to Cape Town yet this was a lie, My relative told me that the Mechanic has given up.
I called again on the number that i recieved a call from ealier and whilst talking to this person he just dropped the call on my ear.
Tried calling over and over again and he kept ignoring my Calls till i called Tariem again and he said they are trying to get a Bus to take the passengers to Cape Town.
Finally at 3pm The Bus was towed to Colesberg with People inside LIKE REALLY
