Athenian Villa

We recently stayed at the Athenian Villa in Caladon on the plus side, we had first booked for April 2020 and due to lockdown had to move our bookings. Management were very understanding and moved the booking to November.

We stayed at the Athenian Villa for two days and were the only guests. On the second day before going out I decided to leave some money behind and not carry all our funds with me. I had drawn money from the atm the day before so took this and placed it into a zipped compartment on the inside of a gym bag used to carry my shoes as the hotel had no facility to lock valuables away.

When we returned i noticed the bag had been moved, checked and most of the cash was missing! Brought this to attention of management who advised that there was only one other staff member working, but did nothing about it!
