Do not do business with this company!!!! ****

Disgraceful, terrible company and such disputable sales practice! NO STAR RATING!!!! Circumstances. On the 24 May 2019, I was phoned by Linda, a sales rep for this company. Caller ID on True Caller read SOAP in red letters. She said she was from a chemical cleaning company and would like to send me a free sample of their cleaning products. I run a small Guesthouse in Bedfordview.

At no time was cost mentioned. Next, on the 6th June, I got another call from the same company saying they would like to deliver my sample. The courier dropped off 25 litters in 5 bottles. I thought it was a bit much, but he assured me that was my delivery. At no point on the delivery note did it mention any monetary amount of money needed to pay upon accepting a delivery.

So to my surprise, the next Wednesday the 12th, I get an invoice in my inbox for R 2,846.25. Apparently I owe them money now for a supposedly free sample.

Convinced this must be an accounting error, I emailed back saying the sample was free. They rep**** no, R 99 per litre! This was never agreed to. And because I had signed for it, and not queried the charge a knew nothing about in 7 days from delivery, they now wanted their payment. I phoned the MD - a thoroughly unsympathetic person to my plight. Mine is a small guesthouse...I don't spend that amount of money on cleaning chemicals a month. Refused to even entertain s****ping the order - even through the chemicals were unopened and I offered to pay the courier for their times. They threatened me with legal action for the outstanding amount there and then! Absolutely absurd!

As to the so called quality of the chemicals, I cannot speak to. They are supposed to be better than Clean Green or Handy Andy, but they look like coloured water to me.

Please do not even answer their call. They are ************. Do not entertain business with this company!!!
