Exceeding my expectations

<p>11 Months ago I purchased a power supply for our laser machine, and this week it packed up.</p> <p>Understandably the nature of electronic devices are that they can either last very long or not, there is no telling. </p> <p>But when it comes to Laser cutting machines it is my experience that you ussualy take very long to proove where the problem is, because people keep you busy with all kinds of tests and try to blame every other part. When your machine stop cutting, it can be the tube, the power supply, controller etc. </p> <p>So with todays general service level in SA we are getting used to, I expected a long discussion to get to the point of deciding that it is actually the powers supply, and then there might be some fine-print issue as well seeing that i am in my last month of warrentee etc.. </p> <p>(sorry for thinking the worst, i couldn't have been more wrong)</p> <p>I took a video clip, took an amp reading and checked 1 or 2 other things and sent the info to Gerhard at Astroware. He informed me the same day i have a 12 month warrentee.</p> <p>He accepted my information without arguments and asked i send him the power supply for his own test.</p> <p>i sent the courier Monday, it arrived Tuesday and before i could find out if they received the unit, they already tested the unit and phoned my daughter with the results -- the unit is faulty and we can send our courier to collect the new one !!!!</p> <p>No excuses or arguments - replacement without delay.</p> <p>I was seriously impressed by their speed of doing things, the symplicity of solving a problem (i previously had a similar problem and had to sort it out with China, it took 3 weeks to reach a decision, and another 2 weeks and R3000 DHL fees to get it, and in the mean time the machine is making no money) .... and the HIGHLY ETHICAL AND PROFESSIONAL service.</p> <p> </p> <p>When conciddering to by any laser machine parts, do not try to save money by buying it directly - there is no support - just use ASTROWARE and sleep well.</p> <p> </p> <p>THANK YOU GERHARD AND TANIA.</p> <p>You have a client for life !!!</p>
