Astron food store staff have no logic

Astron Port Alfred have daily specials which are valid from 11am to 2pm I'm told.

I stopped to purchase R500 fuel and went inside the food store to order the Friday special. I was third in the queue.

When I got to place my order I was told it was already 2pm and was too late to order the special.

I agreed with the lady that it was 2pm but I was third in the queue and was buying petrol... if I hadn't bought petrol (which the fuel stop was earning profit from anyway) I could have made the cut off, even bring third in the queue, quite easily.

She stared at me like I didn't understand rules..

Well, they (management) will understand that my R500 fuel every few days is going elsewhere...
