Poor management of wrong fuel damage

I poured fuel there, when I got home my car couldn't start, by the time my car was assessed I actually found out that it was the wrong fuel..now my engine is damaged and all they say is that their card machine says the right fuel was poured and they can't do anything about it, as they no longer have a till slip or footage. 😡😡😡
