Disrespectful Service at Dawn Park Astron Petrol Station

Good Day,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unacceptable treatment my wife and I received at Dawn Park Astron Petrol Station on [09/09/2026].

At approximately 06:30 AM, we parked at Pump A while another vehicle parked at Pump B. Despite arriving first, the attendant serviced Pump B before us, and then proceeded to serve another car that arrived later, ignoring ours.

When my wife attempted to politely raise this issue, the attendant responded with blatant disrespect, swearing at us repeatedly in front of other customers and staff.

He even went as far as asking us what we intended to do to him, which was humiliating and completely unprofessional.

We have been loyal customers of this station since it opened, but this incident left us disrespected, humiliated, and deeply disappointed.

We request that Astron Energy and the station management take accountability for this misconduct and provide assurance that corrective action will be taken to prevent such behavior in the future.

Specifically, we expect a formal response addressing:

- The disciplinary steps taken against the attendant.

- Measures to ensure customers are treated with respect and fairness.

- A commitment to restoring trust in the service at this station.

- A formal token of apology to my wife for the manner in which the attendant spoke to her.

- Recognition that this incident wasted approximately 20 minutes of our time, as we commute daily to Pretoria.

- Confirmation that the station will review the CCTV footage, as the incident was recorded and can be verified.
