Astron garage Newlands West

I reside in Newlands West. I use Astron garage Newlands West on daily basis since I work for Financial Institution that has partnered with Astron garage. I benefit from using this garage because of Ucounts rewards points we get in return. I went to buy few things inside the garage on 05/06/25 it was about 19:00PM when I entered the store.

I then proceeded to the counter to pay using my bank card, the machine did not work after I inserted my card. The cashier that was assisting me moved away from the desk to look for another speed point machine. She bent down with my card in her hand, I then said please give me my card back and proceed to look for another speed point machine. She stood up and looked at me her facial expression changed. She asked me to leave since she said there was something wrong with my card not their speed points. I explained to her that I have my reasons for wanting my card to be in my position all the times. I work for the bank and I have seen all sorts of *****ulent activities experienced by customers, we advise customers to never loose position of their cards at all times.

I then asked her if she was going to chase away all customers that came with Bank cards? At that point the voices we raised and she was not willing to assist me, I stood there then asked her again to try the same machine we had used. The transaction went through successfully. I then said she must not be offended if I need to be in position of my card at all times. She was shouting saying what did I think she was going to do with my card. I said I work with customers as well and this is no way to speak to a customer then she said she does not care about that. As I was about to exit the store talking back at her she screamed saying I must come back to her box and face her, I came back. Then we continued, the last straw was when she said "Fuseg" to me. She repeated again indicating that she will beat me. I exited the store stood outside in disbelief. I asked for a manager from a petrol attendant, he said managers have left for the day and called a Supervisor. His name was Madoda. I explained the whole thing that just happened. He said managers have left, I then asked for stores number and the name of the cashier, he went to ask for them for a number, he stood there for quite some time then came back. He gave me store number and he was bit hesitant to give me the name, I kept asking for it until he said the cashier's name is Samke. I then asked for surname, he said he doesn't know it, I requested that he gets it for me. He said I will have to go back inside the store and ask if it myself. I refused to go back in there and left.

My concern is, does she know I can take legal action against her and company. How can an employee promise to beat me worse part to insult me like that? I need this matter to be dealt with if I need to escalate it please give channels so I will do so. To support what I'm saying please view the camera's and see it for yourself. I have always gotten great service from petrol attendants throughout the years and I know most of them now. My cellphone number is ***, I am willing to take this up if my matter is not dealt with accordingly. I'm not being dramatic but people out there needs to be made aware of such terrible service we get from Astron garage, a trusted garage with big reputation. I ask myself does staff gets proper training before they deal with us customers. You don't swear to someone at all and worse she does not even know the position I hold in my workplace.

I look forward to know the next steps to my complaint. I am very disappointed and in disbelief!
