Query on Electricity Bill
<p>We are renting at Savanah complex through Astrodon,the last time we saw or heared from the estate agend Alta was when we moved in and nothing there after even afetr numerous e-mails and sms regarding issues in the unit.This month we got an electricity bill of R2439.03 three time the amount we were charged last month. We have tried to get hold of anyone in Astrodon to investigate and to date no one has had teh decency to contact us. We are the ones investigating this with Lennerts meter services even though we signed acontract with Astrodon. We owould really appreciate it if someone from Astrodon should the same kind of enthusiasm with this matter like they did when they convinced us to rend at Savanah Complex</p>

We refer to your complaint and confirm that the body corporate appoints the meter readers being Lennerts metering to read and calculate all electricity and water consumptions on behalf of the body corporate.
We are appointed to complete the administration and recoveries in terms of the consumptions, hence any meter reading dispute would be referred to the appointed meter reading company to verify the meter reading as taken by their employees and report back accordingly herein.
Should there be any fault with the readings or calculations sent to out offices, such will be reported to us in their report, of which the applicable changes will be made to the client account accordingly.
We note that we do not read nor calculate the meters, hence we could not be held responsible for this function as the body corporate appoints a service provider to perform such function on their behalf.
