Bad Attitude!

My experience with this company has appalling ever since myself and my fiance bought this town house in Naturena. Astrodon, Which is the company where we pay our levies. This company has been ******ing us since we moved in. It is now over a year that we have to deal with this treatment and nobody is ever able to assist us. We have been receiving extremely high bills from them and they demand that we just pay without any explanation as to why the bill stays that high. We even changed how we use everything. Our geezer is turned off all day, we have only 1 light that works in our house. Which we cannot understand where all these amounts comes from. Finally everything started going back to normal. We are now AGAIN thrown with a large bill and advised that this a back dated bill for 4 months ago. Our meter has not been working. We have to now make payments again which we cannot understand why as this is only picked up now. The lady who sent us these bills also had a bad attitude with myself and my fiance. She clearly said that this is our problem and that we should make these payments. We requested for her manager who she had copied in the email, But he has still not responded to. Their signature says "you're in good hands". I most certainly do not feel that way.

They also just send us a bill before that we owe them money for about 2 months, Which we have paid. They sent this letter, Open to our securities at the gate. That is divulging information, Which was also not correct. We sent them the proof and they did not even apologise for their mistake. Now again, They only found out 4 months later that our water meter is not working. They just demand payments. We are supposed to be their customers, But we are being treated like *********. I really hope to God that soon i am able to sell this property and i will make sure that nobody ever buys in to sunset gardens. The worst complex, with ****ty service delivery as well. But they expect large payments.

Dear Melissa,

Having read your complaint herein we wish to draw your attention to the following pertinent points which are not disclosed in your complaint:

  1. The portfolio manager informed you in terms of a fault report received from the meter reading company that there's been no water consumption recorded in your unit. A letter were written to you in this regard, merely requesting whether there's any reason why there's no consumption recorded, being a building with quite a lot of investors, it could be possible that the unit was vacant or you have been away, being the reason for no consumption recorded. In stead of responding to the letter as per the request in the letter, your response were clearly in terms of something totally different to the letter that's been sent to you, which you opted to respond to the letter failing to change the subject of the e-mail response from your side.
  2. Upon the portfolio manager questioning the fact that the subject line is in terms of the LOW/No consumption letter, being a clear misunderstanding from both parties you and your husband opted to use vulgar language on several occasions which we will gladly post on this site should need arise, in stead of clearing up the misunderstanding and confirm what your actual NEW query was in order for them to assist.
  3. It is clear that the unit has indeed been occupied thus the water meter is faulty of which the portfolio manager will proceed with the replacement meter of which an estimated amount of consumption will be calculated and billed for the 3 month period the meter has not been working.

Having confirmed the above we will now deal with the new queries in terms of the following billing on your September 2017 levy statement:

Levy 905.76
Sewer 430.21
CSOS Levy 8.12
B/dated Sewer Inc Jul & Aug 17 102.34
Elec 0 13/07 8.65
Elec 8899 13/07 750.77
Water 1046 13/07 22.8
B/dated Levy Inc Mar & Sep 17 602.35
B/dated CSOS Levy Mar & Sep 17 12.01

The back dated levies are in terms of the adjourned AGM held at the guard house on the 17th of July 2017 at 18:00 of which 18% of owners attended in terms of the various regulations. At the meeting a 9.5% levy increase were approved for the financial period ending 28 February 2018, thus the backdated levy and CSOS levy were calculated in terms of the budget being the amounts for March 2017 to August 2017 and billed on your September 2017 statement. Also COJ increases the sewer charge annually effective 01 July 2017, thus the sewer levy were backdated for July and August 2017 accordingly. We note that you have not attended the meeting herein as you would have been aware of this should you have attended.

We trust that you will find the above mentioned in order and look forward to receiving your prompt payment of your September 2017 account in terms of legislation.

If you read the email properly not taking that portfolio managers side. She was very disrespectful hence we were disrespectful to her. The fact that your company has no way of assisting your customers is disgusting. You guys are very useless hey. You telling me we talking about different queries. Why don't you guys help us give us answers??? I am complaining about your bad damn service! You do not just put out information for the public to see. I don't care where the back dated amounts comes from, It is not my business that this useless company did not pick this up in March. I don't have that money to pay. I am not paying anything extra i am sorry.
