Aircon under warranty - yeah right!

We bought a Lexus RX350 from Aston Financial Services. The car salesman's name was Chris. The car was bought with the idea that it was still in its maintenance plan, as that was what we were told. Upon delivery of the car, we were advised that there was a problem with the aircon, however Chris confirmed that he will book the car in with Lexus the following week to fix this, as it was still in its maintenance plan. The car was booked in, and when we arrived at Lexus, we were advised that the car is no longer in its maintenance plan, however they could see on the system that the car was booked in previously for aircon problems. Lexus gave us a quote of about R11k to fix the aircon. We even went to another place to receive another quote to compare, however the quote from Lexus was the cheapest. We notified the dealer. It is 3 years later, and after many phone calls and messages, we are still waiting for them to fix the aircon. <br>
