********* Misconduct
********* and Misconduct by agent. I viewed a property with Fran Pritchard from Asset Real Estate on Saturday 12th September at 16h00. I wanted to put in a CASH offer and asked for the levy statement, COJ account and complex financials. She rep**** that she does not go to the office on weekends, so she will contact me on Monday morning. This morning, to my surprise, the property was marked "Under Offer" on Property 24. When I called her, she reacted very unprofesionally. She said that she already had 5 offers and was not going to take an offer from me as well. She also said that her offer was more than asking price and that I would not be able to match it. It is certainly not for her to decide. The best is yet to come. She then said she would contact me if her buyers do not qualify for a bond. As I have been in the real estate industry, I know that ALL offers must be presented to the seller and an agent should always act in the best interest of the seller. It is not up to the agent to decide which offers to present. According to the Code of Conduct, and agent must take all offers, and present all offers to the seller. The seller then decides which offer to accept. Obviously, a cash offer is better than an offer subject to bond approval. What makes this worse, is that she did exactly the same thing to my daughter two or 3 years ago. As a seller, I would most certainly not entrust the sale of my home to this company.
