Supp**** inferior product not as per sample

Got a quote for sleeves to be printed. Price too high, they wanted our business so said they would match our existing suppliers quote which we gave them. Gave us sample board which we accepted. Gave us new quote (they did not bring to our attention that the 2nd quote was an inferior thinner board). Paid for the goods & once we collected it, went back & showed them that sleeve were too thin & didn't fit our box, it was too big (they had a sample of our box & existing sleeve). The dimensions are correct but they put the double sided tape in the wrong place. Very apologetic at first & admitted they gave us wrong sample board. They felt so bad. We have all the correspondence. Now they are not interested in compensating us at all. We have to have a bigger box made as we have 4000 sleeves. The sleeves cost us approx R11000. They are only prepared to give us a discount on next order. We will never use them again. They say that they gave us exactly what was on 2nd quote. It was their moral duty to tell us in order to meet the quote they would have to give us a thinner board. We would never have accepted this & rather gone back to our existing supplier. We did not sign any acceptance.
