RECKLESS SUPPLIER

I have been using S26 Gold (0-6 months) for my baby and last week we moved on to S26 Promil Gold (6-12 months). When I opened the container of Promil Gold I could not find the scoop. From past experience I know that the scoop is usually buried deep inside so I decanted all of the formula in search of it. I was quite upset to find that there was in fact no scoop in the formula. I used the scoop that I had from the 0-6 months formula but was concerned that the size may be different. I sent an email to query this but I did not receive a reply so I called customer care yesterday. I asked if the size of the scoop for 0-6 months S26 Gold and 6-12 months S26 Promil Gold was the same. The lady said that it was. I asked if she was sure and she stuttered which led me to believe she was not certain. She then went on to tell me that 3 and ½ medicine measures is what I needed to use. She also took down my address and said that she would send me a scoop, which she did. When I received the scoop today I was extremely upset because I realized that the scoop for S26 Promil Gold is in fact twice the size of the 0-6 months scoop. This means that for the past 4 days I have been feeding my baby half the amount of formula. To me this error from the manufacturer is UNACCEPTABLE! You are dealing with little babies so the quality control and your checks should be 100% every time. There is absolutely no room for error! S26 Gold is supposed to be the best formula on the market but clearly your quality control is lacking. My baby has been fussy and not sleeping well and now I realise that it is because she was hungry. As a first time mother I was not sure if the follow on formula was actually richer than the starter formula and that is why a smaller quantity had to be used. I also did not want to take the chance of giving her too much formula, as that could have upset her tummy. I am extremely upset to note the level of carelessness on the part of Aspen. I would like somebody to get back to me with an explanation as to how this happened and to give me a reason why I should continue to support a brand that is this careless!
