Diotroxin pill change

My wife had tyroid cancer in 2010. It was removed, and she had to go on hormone replacement therapy, using Eltroxin and Diotroxin. It took very long to get the right dosage as one can only see the effect of a dosage change every 3 mnths with a blood test. It was stabilized after a year and she has been using the same dosage for 5 years, so she is quite in tune with her body. The last few months she got her pills from Dischem and noticed that the Diotroxin pill changed in size. She started getting strange side effects: headaches, moodswings, chest pains, blurry vision, lightheadedness and nausea. This went on for about a month. Only the Diotroxin pill changed. Yesterday she googled the name on the pill (Levotrin) and found quite a few women warning others about the \new"pill and described the same side effects. We went to see Dischem and they said they could do nothing. We went to another pharmacy. They spoke to the Aspen rep that said the same thing. We can't find a package insert to compare the pills. It is just to much of a coincidence that a lot of women have the same side effects. It is frustrating that this has a massive impact on our lives and we cant get answers. Please Help"""
