350.000 patients left without thyrax medicine

Last week Aspen Pharma announced that they will not be able to deliver essential Thyroid medication to 350.000 users in the Netherlands, as of february 1st. According to Aspen, this is due to a relocation of the production facilities. The question that arises frequently on this site is indeed: Do they have management at all at Aspen? Does anyone there feel any responsibility for customers and patients that rely on their products?<br> Now 350.000 people have to consult their local doctors within two weeks in order to find an alternative solution, that will probaly be out of stock a well since no one saw this coming. <br> On all websites aspen declares that it is committed to steady supplies and excellent communication to all stakeholders. We have seen very little proof of that over the last week. All we see is an arrogant farmaceutical giant that couldnt care less about patients that don't bring enough money to their pockets. Aspen is a danger to healthcare!
