Terrible condition of expensive shoes & Terrible service

Deeply disappointed with latest Asics long distance running shoes I bought. Used 2 run marathons (not anymore). Bought Gel-Nimbus (in April) as in the past these very expensive shoes were worth the money as the upper was also strong & lasted very long (even years)& many km’s.

Don’t run much- not even total of 50km when I noticed the upper was torn. I’m also disappointed with Asics SA - called ‘Consumer experience’ dept. just now. Sad to say my exprnce was Terrible. The ! who answered (sounded something like Stefani) did not even greet or mention her name. It sounded as if the phone was picked up so I said “Hallo”. She told me to contact the store where I bought it- interesting, terrible condition of this R3399 pair after such a short period of use is not their fault - what can they do about it? Hope their service is much better than yours, Asics SA. I’ve always recommended to others and run with Asics as I knew their shoes were durable - so sad that it’s not the case anymore
