Disappointed pet owner

Very bad service over R7000 spent and my dog was wrongly diagnosed! The one vet uggested we spay her 3 days later the same symptoms accorded. On top of spending so much money the vets had bad attitudes and 1 had no smile on her face and thought she was more intelligent than me the owner and was smug with her comments.

The vet tried to convince us to book my dog in for more tests (R4500) and if they find nothing to take her to the specialist, as they are general vets not specialists. (then this is not a hospital its a clinic)

We took our dog straight to the specialist(R7000+-) in 2 days and our dog inherited a small liver, which she now needs surgery costing R19000. Ashburne vets wasted our time and money we saw 3 different vets who could not diagnose the cause of my dog vomiting bile and not eating.

I disputed the money with the ashburne hospital manager and received a response that she would forward the complaint to the owner and theh will call me in for a meeting, it has now been 3 weeks and no communication received. I email again yesterday and still have not received a response. Hence my post on hello peter.

No passion in some of the vets which is sad. This vet "hospital" is more of a money making scheme than a place for our animals to receive the best care.
