We booked 3 rondawels and one suite for a two night stay at Asante Sana for the Innibos festival. Bad service from the get go! We get here at 6pm to find that they are not done cleaning the rooms as the previous guests has just checked out. Standing outside in the cold with my 2 year old sothat they can finish the rooms as there is no reception, no formal check in, As we walk into the rooms we get told that the water is only turned on from 5- 8pm and 6-9 am. but that our water will be on till 11that night. If we require water other than those hours we need to purchase from the local stores. On the first night the water was turned off half an hour earlier with the excuse that "the guy was probably tierd". Thereafter the one rondawel didn't have hot water as they didn't check beforehand to open the gas bottles. The showers are filthy with mold! the toilets are filthy, there were still blacklabel bottles in the room from the previous guests, Toilet seats are broken. The mattresses are so old that the springs show, no person alive can try to get a good nights rest on it! Light bulbs are blown no lighting at the braai facilities so we had to have seating moved inbetween the rondawels sothat we can see what we are doing. There is no maintenance and upkeep done at these facilities ,We had a dispute with Natasha requesting that the owners contact us to resolve all of the issues where the owners gave the message we should just leave it and they did not even bother to come to the lodge. We were awoken early this morning to be reminded that we need to be out by 10am. While I am in the shower, hair full of shampoo and face full of soap suddenly there is no hot water as the gas geysers battery died! I will never return to Asante Sana or advise anyone to book at these facilities.
