Good food means nothing when you have TERRIBLE SERVICE
Been going to asami's for the longest time. Love their food, however had a bad experience twice now at the Gordon's bay Asami's. The first incident we had a waiter that was finishing his shift and told us we need to pay our bill due to him leaving and needing to close the tab on his name, we asked if we could continue with the buffet after paying , to which he said yes, he even spoke to the sushi chefs in front of us and told them to continue serving us on the buffet, but if we wanted to order drinks, we would need to pay for that. We continued eating, and was approached by a rude waiter that demanded we pay for the buffet a second time. When asked to speak to a manager it was all a "misunderstanding", the waiters bad attitude continued for the remainder of our stay, which included snide comments and looks our direction, we eventually left due to feeling very uncomfortable. We returned a few weeks later, determined not to let one bad experience ruin the good relationship we have with asami's. I was greeted by the same rude waiter from the previous time, her attitude seem to changed when she saw me, I recognized her, and from the looks of it, she recognized me. I ordered a water and sat down. A few minutes later the same waiter came up to me, with the worst attitude and with a smug look on her face told me that fyi, the rules have now changed and people are only allowed to sit for 2.5 hours maximum. I looked at the new menu with terms and conditions which did not include the time limit, so I am very confused at this. I finished my water and waited for my company to join me, and paid for the water and we left to find a different sushi place. We ended up going to Sushi house in beach road as they have no time limit on their buffet. This was a very disappointing turn of events, and asami's has lost 2 very loyal customers due to this unprofessional and unbecoming mannerisms.I will be escalating my complaint as I do feel if there is a new rule for a time limit, this should be added clearly to the terms and conditions on the buffet menu as to avoid any confusion. Asami's should also train their waiters better, when dealing with people, this is not the type of way to do that.

Fried rice champs
Our first visit to Asami's Tyger Valley was such an incredible experience! It was our very first time trying authentic Asian cuisine, and we absolutely loved every moment of it. The food was beyond delicious—every dish was bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. A special thank you to Johnathan for the outstanding service. He made us feel so welcome, explained everything with such patience, and was so friendly and relatable that it made our experience even more memorable. To top it all off, they had the most delicious ice cream! Thank you to our amazing waitress Fifi and to the entire Asami's team for an unforgettable dining experience. We can't wait to come back and try even more from the menu. Highly recommended!
