Worst contractor ever.... Stay away from Andre Stassen in Silver Lakes. He does not deliver because there is no supervision, he does attend to his site. He does not finish a task, breaks more than he builds and charges you for the breakage. Quotes are inaccurate and changes them as it suits him, without prior discussion with client. He does not take responsibility for breakages caused by his staff, whom were picked up next to the road with no English or Afrikaans literacy while working. No communication from André's side during building project. The project was extended from 6 weeks to 17 weeks, being less than 50% completed at the stage he was requested to leave the site. He refuses to pay back the part of the deposit that is due. Even though he acknowledged the debt.
