Artscape - Bad experience
Mamma Mia - 1 October 2026 - What a terrible experience. My daughter searched on Instagram and bought tickets for the Mamma Mia performance last night. For R800. What should have been a great experience turned out to be a big disappointment. The tickets were sold by a site that turns out were resellers and a ****. We were sent to the main reception at Artscape on the ground floor. Artscape had a sign with the ********** site printed and on a mobile stand in front of the reception desk which means we were clearly one of many. Whilst Artscape cannot be blamed, the attitude and completely unsympathetic reception attendant has an attitude that Artscape must address. I got to the desk behind my daughter and hadn't heard what she had said to my daughter. I asked the receptionist what the issue was, she nodded her head in the direction of the board , no words and when I asked, why are the public not aware of this , she just said, we only deal with Ticketmaster and no one else. The public should be warned. Why is the site still up selling these tickets? It's a bit late . Artscape - look at who was on duty a 7pm last night and teach your staff a few skills in the sympathy department. Pity about ******** milking society.

Artscape Theatre TOPS
As a severe hemi I attended Nutcracker on Friday night 27 February. Having contacted Artscape by phone beforehand, parking for disabled was made available as well as a wheelchair (in good condition) was brought to us. The staff absolutely professional, helpful and made it easy for me/us. 10/10 for the lady who stopped entrance for the non needy (lazy?) on the top floor to enter the one lift, because on the 2nd floor we could not get in several times. Then we also got a chance at the end of the show to go to the ground floor. Perfect experience. All five stars deserved. And what a brilliant ballet show!!!.
