Damaged watch
I sent in a Breitling watch for a battery change in September 2014. Upon collection of the watch he was advised that the battery was changed howecer they will not charge him (R150) as they were not able to set the time. When asked to speak to the watch technician to further query this we were told he was not available. Upon further investigation my husband realized the crown was damaged. Up until this we had no issues with the watch as he had been using the watch for approximately 6 years prior and it simply needed a battery change. The cost to now repair the crown is extensive, had the store advised me at the time of the battery change that they picked up the crown was damaged I would have gladly sent it in for repairs with them. however they failed to notify of the damage at the time and i should now bear these cost, that I strongly believe should not be there in the first place and is due to negligence of the store. Shaun Whitehead had responded to say that we should meet so he could resolve. This was last year September but to date nothing has been done.
