Held Hostage for Additional Payment

Where to start : <br> - Bad attitude, rude and abrupt<br> - Drunk workers<br> - Held hostage for more money <br> - Damaged goods<br> <br> I myself am in the logistics industry and am yet to come across such an obnoxious and rude individual as Jacques. I was very specific in our request for quote as to what I wanted. Around About Removal's arrived late to begin with. The packers didnt know how to pack things and had to be shown. They nearly took out a chandelier in the new apartment. They damaged the fridge amongst other furniture. One worker was drunk. But worst of all, Jacques, during the course of the move, decided that he underquoted me, and held me hostage. He refused to offload MY furniture until I paid him triple the amount of what he quoted me. He essentially charged me 4.5k as opposed to the 1.5k he initially quoted to move a total distance of 1km. I could not get my furniture until I could show a proof of payment to his driver. This is in breach of his initial contract and is in fact *******. He promised to call me that Monday to sort things out, its a month later and still nothing. <br>
