ARM UPHOLSTERY- Extremely disappointed with this business and how the owner treats paying clients. I sent 8 of my dining chairs in for upholstery in June to be covered in protective plastic due to their light color. Within just TWO WEEKS of collecting them, 4 of the chairs started coming apart at the seams These were the ones we use most often, and clearly the stitching was not done properly. I contacted the owner right away, and he acknowledged there’s a 6-month workmanship guarantee. He told me the repair was a quick fix and said he would let me know when I could bring the chairs back in. Since then, I’ve been following up every month—June, July, August, September & now October—and all I’ve gotten are excuses. He keeps saying he’s away and will get back to me, but he never does. Meanwhile, chairs are exposed, which could lead to more damage. I’ve told him repeatedly this is unacceptable, and he simply does not care. I eventually asked for a refund since the issue hasn’t been resolved, but he refused. He continues to say he’ll "let me know," but after nearly 5 months of chasing, nothing has been done. Very disappointed with the lack of accountability and poor after-sales service. This kind of service is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. If you value your time, money, or peace of mind, I strongly urge you to take your business elsewhere. A "guarantee" means nothing if the person behind it refuses to honour it.
