Terrible and Underwhelming Experience with Ark Training (SA)

We had booked to send two of our top executives to Ark- Training’s ***** and Prevention training conference which took place from 26-27 August 2019 at the Southern Sun The Cullinan in Cape town. Within the first hour of the conference we realized that this is not what was advertised or what we had signed up for (at R9000 p/p), and that this experience and training course was an utter waste of our company’s time and resources! A few of the noteworthy issues: The key speaker was substituted with another individual last-minute; when we eventually started only 2 companies were represented with a total of 3 delegates, and it was clear that the workshop did not offer what was advertised: ***** Prevention and Forensic Investigation Workshop aimed at Managers and Executive Officers. Within the first day of the conference, we contacted Dale – the Senior Project Administrator at Ark Training – in the hopes to rectify the situation OR receive a refund as the practical “training” offered did NOT meet the standards of that which was promised/advertised. Dale (Ark- Training) got back to us, with no apology or remorse, and simply offered us a “credit voucher” without any possibility of a refund. We find this to be a ridiculous alternative. This is gross misrepresentation! We would suggest that anyone who wishes to undergo training/workshops/conferences to up their s****s and understanding in the Human Resources and Finance Sector steer clear of ARK TRAINING and any company affiliated with them!
