Ark Waterproofing, Cape Town
Extremely bad workmanship. Corners have been cut and since they have worked on our roofing, we have experienced severe leaks. I cannot understand how they can call themselves a waterproofing company. Slow response to emails and whatsapp’s and once money is paid, you’ll be lucky to have them arrive for the job. Search elsewhere, this company is not recommended!

Extremely bad workmanship. Corners have been cut and since they have worked on our roofing, we have experienced severe leaks. I cannot understand how they can call themselves a waterproofing company. Slow response to emails and whatsapp’s and once money is paid, you’ll be lucky to have them arrive for the job. Search elsewhere, this company is not recommended!

Terrible Workmanship and Bad Communication
Ark waterproofing Cape Town has let us down tremendously. There is a huge lack of communication. Their work is shoddy and their sanding and painting work is atrocious. We are in year 2 now of what should have been a very simple job, they just cannot seem to sand and paint barge boards. These were also reattached leaving gaps with the eves which subsequently blew off in the storm. The workers are dropped off with very little supervision and when they say they will come, they just don’t pitch and fail to communicate. I feel like once they collected our money, the job had very little meaning to them. There has been swearing arguments between the workers and the foreman, when there was one in the beginning of the job, which left me feeling uneasy and threatened. Two years to do a very very simple job is absolutely mind boggling!!

Failuire to honor guarantee
We bought a house that had had the roof "waterproofed" by Raymond from ARK. Raymond assured the seller and ourselves that the guarantee issued would remain valid even though ownership had transferred. After the first rains, water poured into the house. Numerous attempts were made to fix the leak, we have now been told that no further work will be carried out. This is totally unacceptable.
