Very disappointed and violated.

I have been Ariva rentals customer from 2015 to 2020.On 15/08/2020 I was involved in a motor vehicle accident and my car was written off and I was left with R10042 for access .I made an arrangement with them in writing that I will pay R10042.00 in 3 instalments and the last payment will be end if November 2020 and they agreed. The first instalment went off end of September, second in October and last one in November but not in the same amount. In December nothing was deducted from my account. On the 26 January they sent me an email that they will deduct R2964 on the 28 Jan.2021. I think it is unfair for them to just rock up from nowhere and say they are going to deduct that money from my account. It is not my fault that they did not honour our agreement. I feel very violated because I have plans and budget.

Regards Constance

Good day, we have investigated and fully admit that the mistake came from our side, and apologise most sincerely. It appears that an automated formula resulted in a decreasing debit order being run, and the amount owing not being fully expunged in Nov. and thus, a run for Dec not activated
