Pathetic Service

I am appalled by the level of service received from Ariva.

I had an accident in 7 Jan 2016. I had to follow up weekly with Ariva to find out about my claim process and why it is taking so long. On 8 Jan 2016 I phoned Ariva yet again to only then be informed that the car had been written off. Had I not phoned the process would have been dragged out even longer (no doubt to get another debit order from me for a vahiclre that I am not driving. Once the car was written of I asked whether the process was complete and what else was needed from side apart from the excess payment. I was informed that everything will be dealt with from their side.

On the 14th of March (Not even the debit date agreed upon in my original contract) a debit order went off after the excess was paid ect. and I was charged a fee from my bank due to a reversal. In an email discussion on 9 Feb 2016 I asked for confirmation of settlement of the account. I never received a response (letter of settlement) from Ariva after 3 emails cc'ing 3 departments. Once applying for finance for my new vehicle I was rejected due to the credit check stating that I have debt towards Ariva for my vehicle and it was listed twice. I then drove through to Ariva to receive the settlement letter that I asked for 3 Months ago via email and followed up with via email constantly. I then only received the letter with grammatical errors in.

Finally thinking that I am done with Ariva I go to get my new vehicle registered just to be informed that my Ariva vehicle had never been taken off my name and that I therefor owe money as the license expired in March (it was declared written of on 8 May 2016) I phoned Ariva quite furiously on 13 May 2016 as they had told me that the rest would be sorted from their side and I did not know about the license registration still being in my name as this was my first vehicle. My temporary vehicle registration is going to expire and Ariva has yet to send the original registration document to the insurance company to have the vehicle taken off my name. It is now 23 May 2016 and it has yet been sorted.
