Never take finance from Ariva even if you are blacklisted

Worst company to have business with, the ripping their clients of especially when you about to finish the your car.

1. I have never received a statement for the car I have with them. 2. I'm billed for access mileage of 2016 in 2019 when Its already impacted me negatively on my itc 3. Now I'm been charged handling fees which are for not paying my account via debit order instead of eft which is a method of payment aswell. I had the car for 3yrs and now the company decides to charge you 50 monthly for handling fees 4. The employees are not fully informed about your account before calling instead you are told you in arrears.,when you ask which month it must be referred to finance which I have not defaulted on my payments only with 2 instances in 3yrs which was short payments 4.Management does not care about clients at all after giving them so much money. I have paid almost 150k which they have made their money so by them not caring about their clients forces you to take back their car with their rediculos chargers, worse they know more money will be made by them by charging you 20% of the contract amount and anything that they find is broken in the car. Any car that has been driving for 3ys will have some faults so for them is just making money

Other concern is that even if you take out your battery of your car their tracker will never call you... So you not safe. They have no COMUNICATION

The employees are the worst they speak to clients so rudely no care why you want to cancel your contract they even quick to send you penalty fee to show you they don't care I really regret even having to refer to many client to such a company

Good day Ms Phillips, I did try and contact you earlier this week and left a message on your cell phone. Thank you for posting this on Hellopeter. It is always good to get a customer's view of the first hand experience they have with our company, and I will respond to you fully in due course

Good day Ms Phillips

Many thanks again for your review and I will try and respond in as much detail as possible, whilst being sensitive to not publish your personal information

Our agreement does require that payments are to be made by debit orders. This to ensure that there is no required manual intervention in identifying customers' payments and having to manually post these to customer's accounts. An advice was sent out in January 2018 advising that there would be a charge raised where payments were received other than by debit order. This was considered necessary as the process of identifying manual payments which were incorrectly referenced (or not at all) became very time consuming

I note that there have in fact been a number of billings for excess kilometre usage, dating back to 2016 so it is not accurate that the first billing was only noted in 2019

Your comments with regard to the poor communication, consultants being unprepared to handle queries and the apparent lack of care is concerning and we take these very seriously and, will ensure that we address these with all staff who interact with our customers

When we contract with a customer the monthly payments are based on the expectation that the customer will honour the contract until the end and, in circumstances where early termination is requested, a cancellation fee is standard practice in our industry and many others i.e cell phone contracts

When a vehicle is returned to us either during or at the end of the contract the vehicle is assessed for damages which are not what one would expect as a consequence of normal wear and tear, since the outset of the contract. Naturally if a vehicle had been in a accident and not repaired, this would be such a cost which would be charged out.

Regrettably the removal of a battery on a long term basis does result in a loss of signal, but the vehicle can be tracked for some three days after the removal of the battery and one would expect that under normal circumstances the battery would indeed be replaced during this time

I have tried to provide feedback to most of the issues raised  and would be more than happy for you to phone in to Ariva should there be some unanswered questions. You do have my and Ariva’s general number.

Kind regards for
