Ariva saved my life but I'm now faced with a difficult situation

I would have actually liked to give Ariva rentals 5stars.Simply because I have experinced a good or rather excellent service with them in terms of my rental. However I signed my lease with Ariva on the 17/02/2016.They realy helped me as I needed a car urgently. Upon signing of the contract I was told i would pay R4459 a month which covered tracker and insurance which was realy convenient for me.Was involved in an accident and I only had to pay R5000 for excess and everything went smooth.I was told by the agent helping me then that it was a rent to buy which upon end of lease period I would have to pay R10000 if I want to keep the car,and I was excited because I though in five years time I can come up with R10000 it wont be a peoblem. All these years I was under the impression that in February 2021 I must raise R10000.

I will be honest there were times where I missed payments when things got tough I would call Cresta and later Thato who would make arrangements for me to settle the arrears. However late on 2020 Lesego sent me an email in regards to my lease period coming to an end and If I want to keep the car end of February I should pay around R77000 and the instalment for that month.I was shocked but realy wanted to keep this car so I asked if I could make arrangements but it was not possible as their business model has changed. 2020 was a bery difficult year for some of us where there was loss of income, which created financial difficulty. I then managed to raise R42000 which I paid in October after I informed Lesego if I can pay what I have towards the purchase. My balance is about R36000 and I can only pay about R15000 towards the purchase amd will be left with around R20000.

Now I really need help or understand that even with those circumstances can they not make an arrangement for me since most of the purchase money will be in.I ahould think that there is something that can be done since we were all affected by COVID-19 and most of the purchase will be in. Regards
