New ownership never works
November 2020, my Ariston geyser broke and had to be replaced. It was under warranty. The new geyser was delivered without quibble for free (without a new warranty), but the plumbers appointed by Ariston refused to install it because the geyser wouldn't fit in the roof latch in my house. To install it would have meant removing roof tiles for a hole big enough to fit it through.
Any competent plumber knows the time it takes is about the same, and it is not complex work. I had to resort to hiring my own competent plumber to install it at my own cost.
What's baffling is that Ariston used to do installations in full, but this has been cut back.
