Arik Airline cannot pay it's fuel bill

My wife's flight from Lagos (Nigeria) to Johannesburg was delayed - because the Airline did not pay it's fuel bill, and the fuel company refused to re-fuel the planes, resulting in stranded passengers. Some passengers had already endured a 24 hour wait with no signs of alternative plans or accommodation. We ended up re-booking new flights R 16000 later on SAA - only to find out that the airline had suddenly been partially fuelled (14 hours later) but needs to make a stop in another country to re-fuel. In the interim, connecting flights (on SAA) have been lost. This has been the worst airline experience, when loved ones are trapped in a foreign country.
