No Refund from Arena Holdings

On the 20th April 2021 I received my invoice due on the 18th May 2021 for my half yearly subscription for Weekblad. I realized I am unable to afford it as I am on pension now, I send an email to cancel my subscription. I was under the impression they would do the cancellation on the 18th of May, to my surprise Nompi Mavuso has cancelled my subscription with immediate effect. I wrote an email to ask why, her answer was: "please note that when cancelling your subscription system generated the date and you have the credit of R56.94" I received an email from Aadila Khan on the 24th April to send my bank confirmation letter for them to pay my refund, which I did on the 27th April and still waiting for the refund. I have received an email on the 6th May after I send emails to request the refund, Boitumelo Makhubedu send the following: "Query escalated to Supervisor to follow up on the refund. For further queries please contact us on ***" 17th May 2021 - Just called your ***number to find out where my REFUND is, stayed on the line for 3minutes and the next minute GOODBYE!!!! Please refund my money!! Think again before you cancel your subscription, you could lose money, as they do not pay your refund back.
