<div>“Arctic Edge Digital lack the competence and expertise to develop rudimentary software applications. AED claim to be “premier app development specialists” however I beg to differ given my experience working with them for the better part of the last 18 months. In the latter part of 2022 I mandated AED to build two software applications; I was quoted a fee completely disproportionate to scale and technical difficulty of the two development projects – approximately R350,000.00. I accepted the quotation because AED were premier app development specialists and as such, I expected premium deliverables, and that the application development process would take place expeditiously. At commencement I presented AED with a comprehensive development specification. To my surprise AED allocated a single resource, a QA Software Tester, to attend to the development of my applications; I expected to be allocated a full stack developer or a team with full stack development capabilities because the applications required both front-end and back-end development competencies. In the subsequent months, the development services I received from AED fell well short of the standards that can be expected of purported premier app development specialists. I have spent countless hours correcting the errors made by AED and supervising the single “development resource” allocated to my projects. I have repeatedly made my concerns known to AED; however, the CTO and sole director of the business has failed to take any steps whatsoever to correct the time delays and the clear and obvious errors being made by the “development resource” allocated to my projects. To AED’s credit they were efficient when sending me their invoices for payment; the CTO saw to this personally. Presently, I have a non-functional application that is approximately 12 months late and there has been no progress with the second application. I would avoid AED at all costs!</div>
