Arco360 - a disappointment to horse owners

To all horse owners. I would not recommend Arco360. My horse recently suffered from a colic and was admitted to hospital for treatment. He presented with colic symptoms late on a Saturday afternoon at our yard. After sending videos to our on-call vet, we were advised to box him and transport him to their practice. Upon arrival, they performed a ****** and administered one injection. It seemed like the journey in the box had made his stomach work. They advised to keep him overnight for observation. Arco360 is refusing to settle the bill. Their argument is that the colic was not severe enough and did not warrant admission to hospital. Although the vet has motivated that it was a life-threatening emergency since we did not know whether it would progress into something more severe at the yard, Arco360 is refusing to pay. If you are insured with Arco360, please take note that from my experiance they do not recognize colic treatments in hospital. If you are thinking of insuring with Arco360, i strongly advise you not too waste your money since they do not pay out.
